ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MO — Three St. Charles County communities have been recognized by WorldAtlas as places people are moving to in Missouri in 2026, further reinforcing St. Charles County’s position as one of the state’s most attractive and fastest-growing regions.

The article highlighted Lake Saint Louis, Wentzville and O’Fallon among eight Missouri communities seeing notable population growth. According to WorldAtlas, Lake Saint Louis grew by 14.4% from 2020 to 2025, Wentzville grew by 10.1%, and O’Fallon grew by 5.2% during that same period.

“This recognition reflects what many of us already know—St. Charles County continues to be a place where people want to live, work, raise a family and grow a business,” said Scott Tate, President & CEO of the St. Charles Regional Chamber. “Our communities offer a strong quality of life, access to jobs, excellent schools, growing amenities and room for opportunity. That combination continues to make St. Charles County a major driver of growth for Missouri.”

The article also noted that St. Charles County added more than 21,000 residents between 2020 and 2025, with much of Missouri’s growth concentrating around communities that offer access to jobs, housing and transportation.
