The St. Charles Regional Chamber has joined the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and more than 400 chambers nationwide in urging Congress to pass the bipartisan BUILD America 250 Act.

The legislation would provide long-term funding for roads, bridges, railroads, public transportation and ports while streamlining the review and permitting of infrastructure projects.

“Strong, reliable infrastructure is critical to economic growth and the success of our businesses and communities,” said Scott Tate, President & CEO of the St. Charles Regional Chamber. “We encourage Congress to advance this important bipartisan legislation.”
