Tomes & Tonics Celebrates Grand Opening with Ribbon Cutting in St. Charles
ST. CHARLES, MO — November 6, 2026 — The St. Charles Regional Chamber joined City of St. Charles Mayor Dan Borgmeyer, book enthusiasts, and neighborhood partners on Thursday, November 5th, to celebrate the official ribbon cutting and grand opening of Tomes & Tonics, located at 2454 West Clay in St. Charles.
Co-owned by sisters Julie and Sarah Davison, Tomes & Tonics introduces a fresh concept designed specifically for adults 18 and older. The venue combines an intimate, welcoming atmosphere with a carefully curated selection of both new and used book titles, alongside bookish gifts, merchandise, and accessories.
Guests can browse the shelves, order a handcrafted cocktail, mocktail, wine, coffee, soda, or water, and settle in to enjoy their newest literary finds in a comfortable setting.
"We wanted to create a cozy, mature space where book lovers can slow down, unwind, and connect over great reads and delicious drinks," said co-owner Julie Davison. "Bringing this dream to life together as sisters has been an incredible journey, and we are thrilled to welcome the St. Charles community into our space," added co-owner Sarah Davison.
Tomes & Tonics is now open to the public at 2454 West Clay. For store hours, upcoming events, and featured titles, follow Tomes & Tonics on social media.
